LIBERTY LOAN EXECUTIVE

Preliminary arrangements to launch an intensified campaign in Southland immediately the opening of the second Liberty Loan is announced were made at a meeting of the executive of the Southland Second Liberty Loan Committee held in the City Council Chambers. The Mayor, Mr A. Wachner, presided. It was reported that members of the Women’s War Service Auxiliary had undertaken to distribute posters and window display strips in the city on Monday morning, and the hope was expressed that effective .dn>" plays would be made.
