Mainly Fair (Special) WELLINGTON, October 7. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Light io moderate winds from an easterly quarter. The weather mainly fair, but some scattered light drizzle near the east coast; temperatures cool to moderate. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was mild and overcast. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was mild, calm and clear. The barometer reading was 30.32 in (rising). The Tides. —High water, Invercargill, 1.11 am.; L2B p.m. Bluff, 12.30 a.m.; 12.47 p.m. Riverton, 1,30 a.m.; 1.47 p.m. Oreti Beach, 1 39 a.m.; 1-56 p.m. The Sun.—Rises 6.07 a.m.; sets 7.03 p.m.
