OBITUARY
MR C. J. McKENZIE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 6. The death has occurred of Mr Charles John McKenzie, aged 64, formerly Chief Engineer and Undersecretary of the Public Works Department and chairman of the Main Highways Board. He was born in Dunedin and was educated at the Otago Boys’ High School. He was awarded the C.B.E. 10 years ago and retired about six years ago. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and one son.
