MAIL FOR NEW ZEALAND LOST
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 6. (Hie Postmaster-General reports the loss by enemy action of mail from the United Kingdom for the Dominion, including letters and printed papers posted in the north-west districts from June 18 to 28, in Scotland from June 18 to 27 and elsewhere, except Birmingham, from June 18 to 26. Correspondence from Birmingham earlier was not lost. Parcels for New Zealand from all the districts and posted from June 16 to 26 were also lost.
