ORGANIZED GAMES FOR CHILDREN

During the present school holidays Mrs M. C. Wilson and Mr H. C. Bradley, officers of the Physical Welfare Branch of the Internal Affairs Department, have been conducting organized games and play for children at playing areas on the city’s reserves. An opportunity of seeing what the physical welfare officers are doing is to be afforded the Mayor and members of the City Council who have been invited to visit Otakaro Park this afternoon. A sports gathering for children organized by Mrs Wilson and Mr Bradley was held at Otakaro Park on Tuesday afternoon. About 300 children and many parents were present and the gathering was in every way a success.
