WOMEN’S ARMY CAMP
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, September 1. Before the end of this month it is expected that the camp now in the course of construction for the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps in the Central Military District will be full. The authorities are getting the staff together for the camp, which will be in the nature of a reception and training centre for women and girls for the army. It possesses all amenities and facilities for a modern army. Camp accommodation is planned for 250 recruits, who will be posted to units to which they are most suited. The special capabilities of each will be exploited to the maximum.
