Fair and Mild (Special) WELLINGTON. August 30. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate to strong northerly winds, later changing to westerly. Weather fair and mild at first, but occasional rain and cooler temperatures with change of wind. The weather in Invercargill during the week-end was beautifully fine and sunny. The Tides.—High water Invercargill, 6.25 a.m.; 6.46 p.m. Bluff, 5.44 a.m.; 6.05 p.m. Riverton, 4.44 a.m.; 5.05 p.m. Oreti Beach, 453 a.m.; 5.14 p.m. The Sun.—Rises 7.21 a.m.; sets 6.14 p.m. The weather at 1 o’clock this morning was mild, calm and partly overcast
