RABBITSKIN SALE

(Special) DUNEDIN, August 28. The Dunedin Stock Agents’ and Woolbrokers’ Association reports that at a rabbitskin sale today approximately 67 tons were offered. All grades of winters met with a good demand and values for these compared with previous auction rates can be quoted on the average 6d per lb firmer. All grades of incomings and autumns were neglected and values for these were generally 9d to 1/- per lb easier. Low grades were from par to slightly lower. The official range of prices is as follows: First winter bucks 119 d, first 'winter does 116 d to 118, second winter bucks U4d to 115 d, second winter does 108 d to 113 d, spotted winter bucks 90d to 97 lad, spotted winter does 90d to 98d, outgoing winter bucks 80d to 86d, outgoing winter does 72d to 81 d, spring bucks 59 lid to 67d, spring does 56d to 66d, furrier does 90d to 96d, runners 24d to 26>/ 2 d, small 17d, summers 24d to 32‘/2d, milky does 36d to 45 lid, first winter broken 57lid to 60lid, second winter broken 46d to 58lid, summer broken 33d to 35d, first winter blacks 66d, second winter blacks 55d, first winter fawns 40d, second winter fawns 30d, hareskins 16d to 18d, horsehair 24d to 28d, first ferret skins to 11/9 each, second ferret skins 7/- each, third ferret skins lOd to 1/- each.
