TRAINING CENTRES FOR RETURNED MEN

The Soldiers Civil Rehabilitation Board had approved of the establishment of training centres for returned soldiers, and the erection of a factory In Wellington for returned men had begun, said Mr W. E. Leadley, a member of the Rehabilitation Board, who addressed the District Council of the Invercargill R.S.A. yesterday. Mr Leadley gave a general outline of the work which was being done in the interests of returned men. and said that the board was prepared to build similar institutions in the main centres of New Zealand. "And possibly in Invercargill, too, if it is thought necessary to have one,” he added.
