MAGISTRATES COURT
THURSDAY (Before Mr R. C. Abernethy, S.M.) Charles Stanley Brewer, a night watchman, was fined £5 for using obscene language in Dee street. Judgment by default was given for plaintiffs in the following cases:—Southland County Council V. William Chrystal, jun. (Lochiei). for £2l/18/2, costs £4/5/6; Southland County Council v. Lawrence Murray (Timaru) for 2/9. costs 8/-.
