RABBIT PEST
Sir,—Just a short note to say goodbye to Mr Graham. It is quite obvious that he doesn’t understand the rabbit problem, and is now too old to learn. He again says that what I don’t know about rabbits would fill a book. Well, every man is entitled to his own opinion, but if Mr Graham knew half as much about rabbits as I do he would be able to destroy the rabbits on his little farm in about a fortnight and make at least £lO a week while doing so. If Mr Graham refuses to accept good advice, he will just have to carry on feeding his rabbits and continue wasting his time and money dodging about with a smoker. He says that the only areas in Southland where rabbits are extinct are rabbit board areas. If that statement was correct, the boards would close down instead of continually advertising for rabbiters. If Mr Graham can prove that there is one rabbit board area in Southland where rabbits are extinct I will give £lO above my usual contribution to the war funds. Goodbye Mr Graham. OLD SOLDIER.
