PETROL ABUSES

Sir, —I notice that two other correspondents, “Morris the Mug” and “Chevrolet,” have commented upon petrol abuses. I offer them my commendation and urge them to keep the searchlight upon those who wilfully misuse petrol and tyres to the detriment of the war effort and to the disgust of the vast number of citizens who loyally abide by the spirit and intention of the regulations. Undoubtedly, petrol and tyre abusers in these times of crisis are saboteurs and it is a national duty for those who see these abuses to bring I them to the notice of the authorities. TWO GALLONS.
