COMFORTS FOR SOLDIERS.— The draft of trainees which left Invercargill on Tuesday for camp was not allowed to go without gifts from the women of Southland. The Women’s Patriotic Committee distributed woollen comforts to the men, and for those who joined the train at other stations a parcel was sent forward for distribution at the camp. A total of 130 sets of comforts was distributed.
