NATIONAL SAVINGS.— Last week National Savings quotas were teached at Invercargill, Bluff, Riverton, Tuatapere and Waikaka. The amount received was £2867 compared with the district quota of £3893. This is the lowest weekly total for the district since the quota system was introduced in October 1941. Up to Monday a sum of £143 had been received at Invercargill towards the city’s weekly quota of £2043.
