TROPHY WINNERS
ST. CATHERINE’S COLLEGE COMPETITIONS The following trophies were presented yesterday afternoon at a demonstration concert given in St. Mary’s Hall by the winners of various items in the St. Catherine’s College inter-house competitions, the results of which have already been published: Secondary championship, first place (cup presented by M.M. Dominica, O.P. Prioress General, also gold medal and chain presented by Mrs W- W. Millar), Miss C. Scully; second place (book prize, three volumes, presented by Miss Mary Fitzgerald), Miss Mary Cameron; primary championship, first place (cup presented by Mother M. Frigidian and book prize presented by Miss Marjorie Fitzgerald), Miss M. O'Meara; second place. Miss D. Lister; impromptu speech, first place (book prize presented by the Rev. Father J. Murphy), Miss J. Creighton; senior essay, first place (book prize presented by Miss R. Shepherd), Miss I. O’Brien; special prize (donated anonymously for the girl who was the most generous during the competitions). Miss P. Beehan; inter-house shield (presented by the St. Catherine’s Ex-Pupils’ Association), Bosco House, 24,571 points 1, Aquin House 22,878 points 2, Siena House, 21,185 l / 2 points 3.
