MR NASH SPENDS BUSY WEEK
(Special Correspondent, N.Z.P.A.)’ (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 12. The New Zealand Minister to Washington, the Hon. W. Nash, has spent a ousy week with a series of consultations. He has now attended eight War Cabinet meetings and has also talked with Sir Henry Shackleton, who is the Wool Controller, Lord Samuel and Mr C. R. Attlee, the Deputy Prime Minister. Today he discussed Service matters with Air Commodore L. M. Isitt, New Zealand air liaison officer in Britain, and Brigadier R. S. Park, commanding the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in Britain. Callers included General Sir Alexander Godley, who commanded the New Zealand troops in the last war.
