A RUMOUR DISCOUNTED A rumour has recently reached Southland that patriotic funds had been used to purchase a night club in Wellington. On hearing this, Mr W. J. Bennett, a member of the Provincial Patriotic Council, communicated with Mr G. A. Hayden, secretary of the National Patriotic Fund Board. Mr Hayden has replied: “Just another rumour.
