FREE TECHNICAL TUlTlON.— Returned soldiers of the present war are entitled to tuition in technical college classes without payment of fees. A circular letter from the Education Department, which was received by the executive of the Invercargill R.S.A. at its meeting on Tuesday night, stated that this concession had been approved by the department. The letter added that technical college boards had been advised to use their discretion whether returned soldiers should be charged the usual maintenance fees for material.
