SUCCESSFUL MEETING AT OTERAMIKA ROAD A successful meeting was held by the Invercargill Whippet Racing Club at the Oteramika road track on Saturday. Mrs J. Tatham’s No Joke won the Cruickshank Cup which was given by Mr R. Cruickshank. Another dog of Mrs Tatham’s, Great Surprise, won the President’s Handicap for the trophy given by Mr J. Winders. The presentation of trophies was made by Mr J. Burrowes. Results were as follows: —

FOUR-BALL BOGEY MATCH OF GORE CLUB A fair field took part in a four-ball bogey match conducted by the Gore Golf Club at the Croydon links on Saturday afternoon. The match was won by T. Kidd and C. R. Barron, who finished six up. Other good cards were returned by D. S. McLeod and R. E. Sutherland, three up, and J. Cochrane and D. M. Dunnet, three up.
