Russian Interest In New Zealand

Inquiries for the New Zealand National Review, a monthly publication dealing with political affairs at home and abroad, have been received by the publishers from Russia. The following letter, headed “Moscow, May 25,” is quoted in the September number: “I have heard quite by chance that the best monthly magazine for everybody in New Zealand is the New Zealand National Review, printed in English in Auckland, New Zealand. I take the liberty to ask you to send me by post a sample copy of your publication, for which I shall be very grateful. At the same time I beg you to tell me the subscription and advertising rates.” The letter is signed: “S. Davidoff, 3rd Samotetshniy No. 2, Apartment No. 6. Moscow, U.S.S.R.”
