CONSIDERABLE ACTIVITY IN EASTERN DISTRICT

The following is a record of the principal sales made recently by the company;.— Account Mr J. D. Macpherson, Riversdale. His 234 acres freehold farm to Messrs Shallard Bros., Riversdale. Account Mr James Stevenson, Wendon. “Willowbank” farm property of 500 acres freehold and leasehold to Mr G. W. Armitage, of Canterbury. Account Mr Thomas Pollock, Wendonside. Freehold farm of 970 acres to Mr Alex Robertson, of Wendonside.
Account Mr John Pirie, Edendale, 254-acre freehold farm, together with stock, to Mr Thomas Pollock, of Wendonside.
Account Mr Robert Ness, East Chatton, improved 260-acre freehold farm, together with all stock and plant, to Mr John Pirie, of Edendale. Account Mr Thomas Barclay, Wendon, 161-acre leasehold farm to Mr Marcus Kerr, Waikaia. Account Mrs J. L. Kay, Milton, 642acre freehold farm at Balfour to Mr E. Black, Balfour. MINING RETURNS GREY RIVER DREDGE (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 26. The Grey River Dredge return was 3450 z from 99,792 yards and 131 J hours.
