WORKERS DECIDE TO GO HOME
(United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, September 26. The Liverpool Mine was idle today as a result of a dispute about the issue of pay tickets. It is customary to have the tickets issued the morning before pay-day (tomorrow), but this morning the tickets were not available for truckers because of pressure of work in the mines office. The men then held a stopwork meeting and decided to go home.
