MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
R.S.A. CLUB’S SCORES
The shooting was good at the weekly shoot of the R.S.A. Miniature Rifle Club and only the two sighters were spotted, this being a condition in a match for trophies donated by Mr J. Mcllwraith and Mr T. Burt. The shooter had to nominate his score before shooting. Three members nominated their correct scores and on the count back F. H. Hughes was first, F. Stewart second and M. Sheehan third. H. MacDougall registered a good possible, 80.7, to take the A grade nightly trophy and F. Jones won the B grade prize. R. Barnes was presented with the B grade championship cup and a hanging mirror for winning the season’s aggregate off the rifle. Barnes and P. Parmenter were both presented with safety razors before leaving to go into camp. The scores were: H. MacDougall 80.7, R. T. Barnett 79.7, J. Doake 79.7, P. Parmenter 78.5, M. Sheehan 78.5, J. Mcllwraith 77.5, H. Kirkham 77.5, F. Stewart 77.4, R. Barnes 77.4, W. Hannon 77.2, F. H. Hughes 76.4, A. Acton 76.3, F. Jones 75.3, E. Ball 75.1, S. Brewer 74.1, N. Weir 74.1, F. Hinton 73.1, A. Mac Kay 72.3, C. Griffiths 72.3, H. Edginton 72.2, P. Brass 71.1, R. Foster 69.2, P. McCallum 68.2.
