Although the fund is now in a more flourishing condition, Southland has still a considerable way to go to attain its quota of the Dominion’s contribution, about £l5OO, It is not a large amount to ask from the people of Southland as an expression of their admiration of the invincible and heroic spirit of the people of London, and of their sympathy with them in the ordeal through which they are passing as a result of the ruthless and indiscriminate bombing of the Nazi raiders.
