N.Z. SOLDIER’S DEATH IN EGYPT

MEMBER OF IST ECHELON (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, September 24. The death of Private Oliver Lowe with the Ist Echelon in Egypt is notified to his parents, Mr and Mrs J. E. Lowe, Rangiora. It is stated that Private Lowe’s death was due to shock following multiple burns. AUCKLAND SOLDIER WOUNDED (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 24. The following casualty in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in Egypt is officially announced:— Lance-Bombardier J. P. J. Regan, accidentally wounded. His wife is Mrs J. P. J. Regan, 137 Great North road, New Lynn, Auckland.
