WOMAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL

ALLEGED THEFT FROM TRUST ACCOUNT (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, September 19. On three charges of theft allegedly involving a‘ total of £1296, Phyllis Oliver. Barnett, aged 31, in the Magistrate’s Court today was committed for trial in the Supreme Court. Robert Urquhart, a barrister, said that from April last the accused had been keeping his trust accounts under his supervision. As a result of something he heard from the bank he accused her of falsifying the books. The accused had said that things were wrong, but she was trying to put them right.

The accused pleaded not guilty .and was released on bail on two sui'V'.ies of £2OO.
