ROSEHILL MEETING ON SATURDAY

(Received September 19,10.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 19.

Despite the last-minute withdrawal of Beaulivre, a high-class weight-for-age field, including High Caste, Reading, Beau Vite and Mildura, will participate in the Hill Stakes at the Rosehill Red Cross meeting at Randwick on Saturday. Prominent Derby candidates will compete in the Rosehill Guineas. Beau Vite ran a smart seven furlongs in Imin 27fsec on the Randwick track today. Others who showed to’advantage were Hope, Mildura, Mosaic, Tidal Wave, Flying Knight, Panchio, Buzalong and Reading. The latter, looking in superb condition, is working most convincingly. Beaupartir is not working well and is under a veterinary surgeon’s observation.

Acceptors are:— Rosehill Guineas (all B.s).—His Lordship, Evergreen, Rimveil, Panchio, Pinero, Fearless Fox, Flying Knight, Lucrative, Pandect. Hill Stakes.—Mosaic 9.3, Mildura 9.3, BourxOn 9.3, St. Constant 9.3, Reading 9.0, High Caste 9.0, Beau Vite 9.0, Buzalong 9.0, Furtrader 7.12. Red Cross Cup (one mile, three furlongs and 30 yards): There are 15 acceptors. The topweight is Landlaw

(9.0) and Yours Truly has 7.8. A.I.F. Handicap (seven furlongs and 22J yards): There are 10 acceptors. The topweight is Rexfelt (8.8). Other weights are:—Gladynev (7.10) and Nightbeam (7.5).
