BLUFF NEWS

AWARUA lodge At the monthly meeting held in Willard Hall, the Ladies’ Lodge, Hearts of Oak, Invercargill, was present by invitation to work the Loyal Awarua Lodge. N.G.P.G. Bro. G. Giles welcomed the visitors and handed over the lodge to N.G. Sister I. Dempster. P.G. Bro. T. Gray proposed the toast of the visitors, to which Sister J. Dempster replied. Other speakers were P.G. Bro. G. Sherriffs (Shamrock, Rose and Thistle Lodge), P.P.G.M. Bro. W. Whelan (Loyal St George Lodge). P.G. Bro. F. Cunningham (Loyal Past Grands Lodge), all of Invercargill. After the lodge closed, a social evening was held.
