STORAGE OF DOMINION WOOL AT BOSTON

(Received September 16, 6.30 p.m.) BOSTON, September 15.

One-quarter of a million pounds of Australian and New Zealand wool belonging to British owners will be stored at Boston for the winter. It is understood that the title of ownership will remain British, but the United States will be permitted to draw supplies in the event of emergency. Shipment to the United States is expected to begin in September, requiring 40 ships. The United States Government will pay storage and any excess freights. It is emphasized that the wool will be bonded and not available to the general market. It cannot be used for ordinary commercial purposes.-
