Y.M.C.A. OPEN FORUM DISCUSSION

INTEREST IN RELIGIOUS TOPICS

Keen interest was displayed in the open forum discussion which was held under the auspices of the Invercargill branch of the Young Men’s Christian Association >on Sunday night. There was an attendance of 110 and the subject discussed was “What Is Meant by the ‘Kingdom of God?’ ” A short address was given by Mr Clive Sage and then discussion ensued. The secretary of the branch (Mr Dudley Wills) presided. Next Sunday, the speaker will be Mr W. Grieve, who will deliver an address on “Why Does a God of Love Allow War?”
