HEARING OF APPEALS

JOCKEYS GRANTED ONLY CONDITIONAL LICENCES (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, September 12. The appeals of the jockeys P. Burgess, A. E. Didham, G. R. Tattersall, W. Broughton and H. Wiggins, against the action of the executive committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference granting them three months’ conditional licences only at the beginning of the present season will be heard before three judges appointed by the conference in Wellington on September 24. The names of the judges will not be divulged until after the hearing.
