WOMAN KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR-CAR

While crossing Tay street about 10.20 last night Mrs Mary Cecilia Rodgers, of Clyde street, was knocked down by a motor-car driven by Mr Percival White, of Invercargill. Mrs Rodgers suffered a broken leg and was admitted to the Southland Hospital. Her condition is reported to be satisfactory.
