\ WOODLANDS Miss N. Kelly has returned to Invercargill after being the guest of Miss L. O’Meara, Mr and Mrs C. Wyeth and their family, Invercargill, were the recent guests of Mr and Mrs J. Wyeth. Miss Doris McArthur, Invercargill, was staying with Miss Jean Bell last week. Miss L. O’Meara is at present spending a holiday in Christchurch. Miss D. Wimpenny, of Dunedin, has begun her duties as relieving teacher at the Woodlands school. Miss J. Herbison, Invercargill, was the recent guest of Miss B. Corrie. Miss Clarice Dunn, Invercargill, was the week-end guest of Mrs W. D. Muir. WINTON

Mrs J. T. Darnill, Prince street, is on holiday in Christchurch as the guest of her daughter, Mrs A. W. Smart. Miss Betty Stewart, of Invercargill, has been the guest of Miss Peggy Kang, The Bend. Mrs 11. Driscoll, Park street, has returned from a holiday in Christchurch and Timaru. Mr and Mrs C. A. Young, of Milton, were the recent guests of Mrs M. Smith, Oreti. Mrs C. Kelly and her family, of Invercargill, were the guests of Mrs M. J. Swale, Park street, last week. Mrs W. Woods, South Hillend, is visiting Christchurch. Miss Mona Campbell, Great North road, was a visitor to Dunedin last week. Mrs King, sen., and Miss M. King, The Bend, are visiting Invercargill. Mrs E. Pike and her family have been on holiday at Fairlie, South Canterbury. Mr and Mrs H. J. Mathias and Miss N. Mathias, Wemyss street, have left to live in Invercargill. Mrs M. Kean, Home street, has been the guest of her sister, Mrs I. McLean, Caroline. Mrs G. Cowie, Arthur street, has returned from a holiday with Mrs T. Miller, Oreti. Miss Marion Tilley, Great North road, is staying in Christchurch. Miss T. Payne, Christchurch, is the guest of her sister, Mrs A. Dixon, Park street. Miss T. Clark is visiting Dunedin. Miss M. Tarlton, of Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs J. Scully.
