LABOUR’S LEADER

POLITICAL ADDRESS AT DUNEDIN. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, June 2. Mr 11. E. Holland, M.P., Leader of the Labour Party, gave a political address tonight to a good attendance in Burns Hall, He began the address by expressing regret at the continued illness of Sir Joseph Ward. His remarks were on the lines of speeches delivered in other places. He referred to unemployment, to the Labour Party’s land policy and to its scheme for dealing with labour problems experienced in the Dominion, and spoke strongly in support of the encouragement of local industries.

A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr Holland.
