OVER NIAGARA
MAN IN STEEL BARREL.
NO ILL-EFFECTS SUFFERED.
(United Presa Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright)
Vancouver, June 1.
A message from Niagara Falls states that for the second time in his adventurous career William Hill, a Niagara boatman, defied the swirling currents, the eddies of the whirlpool and the lower rapid? below the falls and survived.
He made his spectacular trip in a steel barrel which for nearly four hours was tossed about like a rubber ball in the sight of 5000 people, including Mrs Hill and their eight children. He suffered no ill effects.
