THE GORE BRANCH. ANNUAL MEETING. ■At the annual meeting of the Gore branch of the Plunket Society' yesterday afternoon the president, Mrs. D. M. Cochrane presided over a large attendance of members. The annual report and balance-sheet (already published) were adopted. The following officer-bearers were elected:—President, Mrs. A. T. Pettigrew; vicepresidents, Mesdames D. A. Dunn, D. M. Cochrane, A. S. Fleming; advisory board, Messrs H. C. Mac Gibbon, G. S. Finlayson, C. M. Wilson, Dr. McAra and Mrs. G. S. Finlayson; secretary, Mrs. E. G. Wilson; hon. treasurer, Mr. G. S. Finlayson; hon-auditor, Mr. W. D. Shelton; hon solicitor, Mr A. L Dolamore;. committee, Mesdames D. M. Cockrane, H. C. Mac Gibbon, D. A. Dunn, J. Harper, L. R. Tayler, C. R. Green, R. Fisher 'and R. W. Hamilton.

Votes of thanks were passed to the retiring president and to the secretary.
