(United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.)

Vancouver, May 30.

A plea for the greater use of Australian and New Zealand products was voiced by Mr J. H. McDonald, a member of the Canadian delegation of lumbermen which recently toured Australia. CHINA TO CANADA

A SUBSIDIZED SHIPPING SERVICE.

Ottawa, May 30.

A separate subsidized cargo steamship service to China from Vancouver is likely according to an announcement by Mr Malcolm, Trade Minister. Regarding the estimates for the AustraliaBritish Columbia service, the Minister suggested that China be added. He said the service since it had been inaugurated had practically doubled the shipments of lumber to Australia. Canada had been unable, however, to market her lumber in Australia during the past four months and would apparently have to go to other ports of call.
