LATE LORD DAVIDSON
WESTMINSTER ABBEY SERVICE.
(British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, May 29. The first part of the funeral service for the late Archbishop, Lord Davidson, took place at Westminster Abbey this evening. A large congregation included representatives of the King and the Prince of Wales. The service was conducted by the Dean of Westminster, Dr. W. Foxley Norris, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York being present.
The coffin was subsequently taken by road to Canterbury Cathedral, where interment in the cloister garth will take place to-morrow.

Wellington, May 30.
The Bishop of Wellington, has sent the following cablegram to Lady Davidson: “The Church in New Zealand sympathises much with you in the passing of our great Archbishop. Bishop, acting primate, Wellington, N.Z."
