Faith in one’s city and its ability to rise above the trials of adversity is always appreciated by the onlooker (says the Wanganui Chronicle). Evidence of this was furnished by a Wanganui business firm which has consistently improved its premises. In a congratulatory’ message to the manager of the firm a London colleague refers to the improvements in the following terms: “Thank goodness there’s someone in New Zealand with determination not to let hard going best them and one town that shows evident growth and expansion. More power to you ami you; endeavours.”
