CHEQUE FORGED
MAN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, May 26. Pleading guilty in the Police Court this morning to forging a cheque for £4 10/-, and uttering to tradesmen, Norman Hugh Jeffs, alias Porter, alias Jeffrey, aged 22 years, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was allowed.
