DRUNKEN MOTORIST
A MAGISTRATE’S WARNING. (Per United Press Association). Gisborne, May 26. When two Maoris appeared before him this morning, Mr Harper, S.M., issued a warning that licenses would be cancelled in all cases of intoxicated drivers. Sidney Eparaima, aged 41, who collided with another car, was fined £5 and his license was cancelled for six months. Iriapa Penapa, previously convicted in December, 1928, for a similar offence, was fined £lO ■and his license cancelled for 18 months.
