HOUSE GUTTED
FIRE AT CAMBRIDGE. (Per United Press Association.) ■ Cambridge, May 23. At an early hour this morning fire destroyed a six-roomed wooden dwelling in Queen street owned by F. S. Veale of Tamahere and occupied by W. Munroe. The occupants were away at Horahora at the time and arrived home while the fire was in progress. The whole of the contents were destroyed. The insurances were: Furniture and effects £165, piano £lOO, house £BOO.
