MUSSOLINI’S SPEECHES

“GEESE OF EUROPE CACKLING.”

(United Press Assn.—By . Telegraph—Copyright.)

(Rec. 7 p.m.) Milan,'May 22. “My speeches at,.Leghorn and Florence have set all the geese of Europe cackling,” said Signor Mussolini addressing 25,000 exservice men. “Never has there been such a spectacle of human hypocrisy. Anyone would think that only Italy possesses war planes while other countries have unoffensive paper kites; that only Italy has guns and that other countries content themselves with walking sticks; that only Italy has a navy and others fishing smacks and yachts. The truth is that if everybody is arming Italy must arm too.”
