NATIONAL PARK

ACCOMMODATION FOR TRAMPERS

(Per United Press Association.)

Wellington, May 20.

Trampcrs at National Park who desire to rough it wall in future be able to do so quite independently of the Chateau as the National Park Board has made special provision for them in huts up the gully. Access to both and the other facilities used by those in the lodges will, however, be given and the huts set' apart for them are a great advance in comfort on the old W’hakapapa huts.

That this accommodation is likely to be made full use of is shown by a recent successful sojourn there of a large party of Auckland Grammar School boys. Another big party of High School girls from Auck-lar-l has been arranged.
