DAMAGES AWARDED
INJURED WATERSIDER.

Wellington, May 20.
James Jepson, a watersider, today in the Supreme Court was awarded £175 general damages, £l3 12/- hospital expenses and £26 loss of earnings for the loss of a finger injured while handling cargo due to the negligence of the winchman. Plaintiff it was stated had received £3 8/5 per week for 26 weeks’ compensation.
