VAGRANT VERSE
ENGINE. (Written for the Southland Times.) The years whirl about in crazy spirals photographed in smoke. One fears to shout, for noise, like smoke, pauses but a moment on the brink of chaste infinity. If I ever spoke, where is the register of those emotions?
