VISIT TO GORE. ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED. The following proposed. programme for the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York to Gore on March 22, 1927, has been drawn up by the Borough Council—■ 1.55 p.m. —Arrive at Gore: (1) Presentation of Mayor and councillors on special dais erected in public street; (2) address of welcome and reply. 2.10 p.m.—lnspection of guard of honour. Inspection of children of local and district schools, drawn up in street. 2.30 p.m.—Drive round town, showing soldiers’ memorial and principal public buildings, etc. 2.45 p.m.—Return to station. 2.55 p.m.—General send-off at station. Steps are being taken by the council to make an effective display of bunting, etc., and it is the desire of the authorities that the public should co-operate in this matter.
