COMMITTEE OF INQUIRY

STATE SUPERANNUATION FUNDS, (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, January 19. The Government has been for some, time looking into the position of various State superannuation funds. These are at present four such funds in existence and it has been discovered that various anomalies have arisen in the course of administration which the Hon. W. Nosworthy now announces the Government has decided shall be removed as far as possible in order to secure effective co-ordina-tion. Cabinet has therefore appointed what is practically a departmental committee to go into the whole matter.
