MAGISTRATE’S COURT

SITTING AT GORE. (From Our Correspondent.) At a sitting of the Gore Magistrate’s Court yesterday, Mr H. J. P. McGrath v Joseph Jones, for £4 10/-, with costs £1 15/6; Fords (Gore) Ltd. v August Leitze, for £3 15/-, with costs £1 8/6; James McKenna v J. Pope for £3 13/2, with costs £1 14/6; J. McKenna v C. Hughes for £1 0/5, with costs 11/-; James McKenna v Thomas Moffett for £l2 3/4, with costs £2 7/-; F. J. Hutton and Co. v E. H. White for £1 15/6, with costs £1 2/-; F. J. Hutton and Co. v W. J. Johnstone for £9 9/6, with costs £1 19/6; James McKenna v J. Moir for £ll 12/10, with costs £2 6/-.

In a judgment summons case R. E. Robertson v Thomas Mee, the judgment debtor was ordered to pay the amount due, £5 13/10, with solicitors’ fee 15/6, or in default seven days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended if he pays £1 per month, the first payment to be on February 14.
