NIAGARA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) An extremely enjoyable evening was spent in the Niagara school on Friday, June 11, when the spinsters of Niagara invited their friends in Niagara and the surrounding districts to an evening’s entertainment. The hall was tastefully decorated with ferns, flags etc. When the grand march commenced over twenty couples took the floor, directed by Mr J. F. Noble, jun., M.C., assisted by Mr H. Yorke. It was led by the chairman (Miss M. Noble) and Mr H. Yorke. Excellent music was supplied by Messrs F. Pope and W. Hayes. Liberal supplies of refreshments were handed round by the spinsters. During the evening Mr J. McColgan rendered a couple of .much appreciated songs. Dancing was indulged in until the early hours of the morning.
